Ultra Clean-projectielen van 100 mm en groter zijn voorzien van een gelamineerde achterkant om luchtdoordringing te voorkomen. De gelamineerde achterkant moet als laatste in de straalpijp worden geplaatst, zodat de lucht ertegenaan wordt geduwd.
